Life in 2009
Well, I haven’t posted a single blog entry since December 2008. I know, I know…why? Busyness has been the most part, but there’s not been anything to really report. Not sure if anyone reads my blogs anyways…and the truth of the matter is…I blog for myself. I want to remember the memories of what’s going on in my family for future reference…and…just to keep tabs on the girls and how fast they’re growing.
Ok…well…let’s do an update on individuals…
Katherine - Still teaching Mother’s Day Out at Tate Springs. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I have 11 children and 5 of those precious little ones come 4-days a week. My “Cooking with Kat” podcast is going GREAT and I have quite a few followers!! We’re soon to approach the broadcasting company for sponsorship…so pray all goes well!
Dave - Working FULL TIME with his own company, Dave Curlee Media, and is producing quite a few podcasts online from GeekBrief.tv, DS News, to Layered Technology. It’s amazing work, and he’s quite talented. I guess you can officially call him an online TV producer. His dream coming true.
Jayna - Jayna’s doing very well in Kindergarten this year. She’s just completed her 3rd Six-Weeks and has the best report of all 3 six-weeks’ reports! She had a seizure in December just before our Christmas break but hasn’t had one since. We went to visit with our neurologist in February and he’s in agreement with us that we have time to ‘drag our feet’ on medicating Jayna for seizures. Currently, she has one seizure every 8 months. Hardly frequent enough to medicate in our opinion. We’re waiting on a date to have her tested and evaluated for Occupational Therapy…so pray that time comes SOONER than later!!
Jillian - Oh my…where do I start?? Jillian is our ‘wild child’. She’s super independent, super strong-willed, and if given the opportunity, would rule the world! She loves her Mother’s Day Out class and will go to REAL preschool next year at Tate Springs Preschool. It’s a 5-day/wk program so that will give Mom & Dad a DAY OFF to do whatever we need WITHOUT kids!! She’s super smart and could probably read much earlier if I sat down with her long enough to do it. She’s a pistol!!
The family is doing so well…and we’re so grateful for each other. Life is good and GOD IS GREAT!!
