Yesterday, while at church, Dave and I had the pleasure of working in Extended Session.  For those of you who don’t know what Extended Session is…it’s the time during worship where Parents volunteer to keep their child’s class.  It’s filled with fun things to do and learn…and it’s only an hour or so.

Well, after Extended Session, we were cleaning Jillian’s classroom (it’s also the classroom where she has "school") and Jillian really got into cleaning the room making it all nice and spotless for Mrs. Melinda on Monday morning (today).  Dave and I watched her really take pride in her school things.  She was determined to get everything in it’s place…and after she was done, we commended her on a job well done!  "Jillian, you did an AWESOME job cleaning Mrs. Melinda’s room for her!" 

Jillian’s response, "Well, it’s MY pleasure!"

Then, Dave said, "I am so proud of you for taking responsibility in caring for this classroom and making it nice and pretty for your teacher."

And without batting an eye, Jillian responded, "See a need…Fill a need!"
