Jillian and Jayna got to go to the army base where Dave’s cousin, Keith and his wife and son live.  It’s just a couple of hours from us…and we knew that with their experience in special needs children, Jayna would be in good hands.  Needless to say, their trip was fantastic, with the exception that Jayna cried everytime she talked on the phone with us (she did have a blast…she’s still talking about it!!).

One day Keith & Angela decided to take the kids to Lampasas to a wildlife, drive through safari.  They purchased tickets…and drove through it THREE times…and even went to the petting zoo to feed the animals.  They had a GREAT time. 

At one moment, Jillian saw a deer and decided to ask…"Deer…do you know Jesus as your Savior?"  She waited….  Keith and Angela looked at each other wondering "Did she just say what we thought she just said?"  Keith asked her to repeat what she wanted to know and she did.  When he asked her what the Deer’s response to her was, she said, "The heck if I know!!  I don’t speak DEER!"
